Credentials Project Manager, Software Services (8 years) Supply Corps Officer, United States Navy (8 years) University of Phoenix – MBA / Technology Management Bradley University – Bachelor of Science, Business Management Operations West Aurora High School . | From the Author: A few years ago, inspired by Jean Auel, author of Clan of the Cave Bear, I came up with the idea of applying my academic skills to write a series of novels which compare the evolution of governance of the United States in the 19th century to the developing world governance of the 21st century. Since I began writing Little Woods, many wonderful people have assisted my research of the Native-American people who lived around Lake Michigan in the early 19th century, and even more have nurtured my progress in the craft of writing fiction. Some of the most helpful suggestions on writing came from the Whidbey Island [Washington] Writer’s Association Conference, the Novels In Progress Workshop sponsored by the Green River Writer’s Association in Louisville, Kentucky, and the Northwestern University Summer Writer's Conference in Evanston, Illinois. I also received useful, continuous feedback on my work through the generous and talented members at the Urbis writer's forum.
